About me:
I am a 28 year old PhD candidate at the University of Georgia studying and developing methods to visualize, enumerate and phenotype Artemisinin-induced dormant Plasmodium falciparum. In March of 2020, I purchased my first home and currently spend most of my time working on small rennovations and projects. My favorite activies are estate sale shopping, gardening and hiking. I have two special needs cats, one diabetic and one semi-feral. I am a sucker for an animal in need and consequently have three rescue reptiles and an ex-lab experiment axolotl. My ball python, my bearded dragon, my leapord gecko, my axolotl and my horde of plants keep me busy when I am not in the lab. When I was younger I spent most of my time at the barn riding my horse, Major Paid Holiday (Doc), who is currently retired and loves when I visit him with carrots. Thank you for checking out my website!
